Do some real research into the actual science of climatology. You will find that even IF CO2 is the problem, eleminating ALL CO2 emissions by the U.S. will not matter.

Having said that, I beleive the research that shows the global temperature swings we are seeing are normal and that your junk science is going to destroy our society, economy and industry for nothing.

Don't yell at me! Honestly and objectively look at the science - leave the do gooder emotions out of it.

Regards,

some smart guy needs to make for us stoopid people a system that makes the gasseous carbon waste into a solid. the waste could be disposed of nicely. that way we would be doing good by driving our cars.

what levels are we at now? what percentage do we need to drop from current levels? how quickly do we need to be at 350? is there a point where if we wait too long to get to 350, we will have already done irreversible damage?

I'm not sure hot to reply to this comment other than to say that this is a forward looking site and the goal is to not only educate but to inspire. Thanks for visiting but I would prefer constructive comments about how to better the World instead of criticism. Let's make this World a better place together!

Robert, perhaps you could come up with ways to help the world, instead of pointing out the errors of the past.

Its amazing how quickly amnesia sets in as soon as the price of gas drops...The drive for alternative energy is always predicated on immediate revenue/cost savings for both manufacturer and consumer.

As for those auto companies that were greed driven in the 70s....you reap what you sew...

Thanks for the comment.

Just think...if the auto industry/oil industry didn't kill the electric car, if they all started manufacturing environmentally friendly vehicles in the 1970's when we were scared with the threat of an "oil shortage" (deja vu) and if they powers that be invested in our environment (instead of greed driven) the most important number would not be on our immediate horizon. As per status quo, mismanagement rules, and gets compensated for it with bonuses. What a wonderful world.
